Since she bought her first diary (complete with a flimsy key!) back in the mid-80s, Sara has nurtured a love affair with words that continues to evolve. From make believe to term papers to journalism to marketing to emails to her kids’ teachers, she’s always crafting a sentence and rewriting a paragraph.
A wife and a mom who never expected to be either, Sara puts her childhood friends — words! — to work describing her daily experiences. She married a man beyond her dreams way back when she had zero wrinkles under her eyes and nary a “sparkle” in her hair, and for nearly two decades they have relied upon the Lord to help them build a great, big, huge life.
The Pattersons live in a messy, loud house on the prairie overflowing with four kids, too many stray socks, and an embarrassing abundance of chocolate chip cookies.
